“After researching spinal decompression, I wanted to try it out and I thought it could be beneficial to me.At my initial appointment, Dr Bondy advised we would try the decompression table on my neck, and the following treatment would be my lower back. While laying there and having my neck stretched on the decompression table, there was a piece that went under my head and it was pressing into the trigger points at the base of my skull. These pressure points have been extremely sensitive and painful to me lately.I have a chronic neck and should injury, so this should have been taken into account. It didn’t help that I was left in the room for 10-15 minutes and had no way to ask for help. Dr B checked on me and I explained this to him. He said he had never heard of that bothering anyone before. I explained where it was hitting and why it hurt. Dr B attempted to adjust that piece, but it continued to hurt, so treatment ended. This was June 1. I came back June 2 for acupuncture app w/Dr Humphrey. During treatment, I had to lay face down on the table. I have not had to lay face down on a table like this before, and it began to hurt my face. The table pressed into my brow ridge, as well as my cheekbones. In the past, there was something much softer to rest my face on. I had told the doctors about my medical history/injuries. I had also advised that I have constant headaches and migraines frequently. The fact this was hurting me, was not unrelated. Those two areas of the face are extremely sensitive for many people. I advised Dr H of this. I didn’t think it was a big deal that I was voicing my concerns. I was not rude; I was simply saying how much it was hurting me. I had dark red circles on my cheekbones and brow ridge from where the table was pressing; the marks stayed present on my face for quite some time after I left GLC. I had another app booked for June 5, with Dr B for the spinal decompression of my lower back. When my app had concluded June 1 with Dr B, we had discussed manually stretching my neck, and then trying the decompression for my lower back pain. When I went back on June 5, I didn’t realize I’d be having to lay face down on the hard table again (like I did during acupuncture). Had I known, I would’ve brought something with me to cushion my face. Dr B instructed me to lay face down, that he would be putting heat on my lower back and tens machine— which was fine. I just wish I had known prior to my app. While Dr B was setting things up, I said, “Have you ever laid on one of these tables like this before?” I was answered with something like, “Of course I have. I went to chiro school and have been a chiropractor for 15 years. These are the tables that are used everywhere.” Dr Bondy proceeded to remark that Dr Humphrey had told him about me saying that during my treatment on June 2. So, apparently they were talking about me, and the fact of me saying something about the table being painful when laying face down. Dr B, therefore knew it was painful to me, and dismissed that fact. Instead of caring, he was kind of defensive and condescending towards me about it. Dr B said something about massage tables and that they’re the same. I responded that there is a much softer head/face pillow on those tables. Which he stated that they leave marks on his face. I replied that I usually get a small line on my forehead, but they are not nearly as bad or uncomfortable as the chiro tables he has. Dr B said something like, “we will have to get some special tables just for you”, and laughed it off. I said something like— I guess I’ll need to bring something with me next time, to help cushion my face more. I personally found this all to be extremely rude and felt very uncomfortable. I thought Drs are supposed to be in the profession to help people, have compassion, etc. Apparently as long as you don’t have anything constructive to say. I went home and thought about everything, as well as talked it out with my husband for advice. He agreed with my concerns. I cancelled my upcoming apps via the online booking, and will not be returning.”Read moreShow less

“I highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a highly skilled and attentive osteopath. From the very first session, it’s clear he truly knows his craft—his approach is precise, professional, and educational. He takes the time to find the root cause of the pain rather than just treating the symptoms. I left his office not only feeling physically relieved but also with great practical advice for my daily routine. A true, passionate professional—you’re in great hands!”Read moreShow less
