“I sustained severe injuries on the 13th of december 2020 due to being hit by a car while walking across the street. Broke my leg and neck, aspirated, fractured my skull, and obviously severe brain injury. While going to Synaptics for physio, I heard about the acupuncture in the Elevate side of the building. So I gave it a try. Delighted that I did. I'm currently paralyzed from chest down. I have feeling everywhere. My right leg has metal due to the break. But my left leg was always colder. And I also lost my sense of smell and taste. And I have trouble with my digestive system. So I explained that to Heather Fulker who does the acupuncture. She got to work. Although it's slow, but things are definitely getting better 😌 ☺️. Legs are now the same temperature. Digestive system has improved. And my sense of smell and taste have become far better! I can actually smell different things now and food taste is much better 😋. For anyone experiencing any kind of physical troubles, I highly recommend exploring acupuncture at Elevate! Amazing 👏 🤩”

“I have a condition called dropped foot. This makes walking risky and hazardous. I have had acupuncture treatments with Heather and I am able to walk without concerns of tripping and falling. “I am a senior 80 years old who chose Elevate Movement Therapies after researching several other places who offered physiotherapy services. I found a friendly reception, a knowledgeable, supportive staff, and excellent facilities. My medical Dr. was unable to help me with a persistent hip, knee and foot problem that I had for three years due to complications from dystonia. The physiotherapist, "Nelson", was thorough and patient. Along with massage therapy, he built an exercise program for me over a period of a few weeks that saw my quality of life greatly improve. I went from a sedentary painful lifestyle to pain free exercising and riding my bicycle again. I am now at 10 Km. a ride and my goal is 20 Km. I now continue with a Home Exercise program designed for me. I feel great! Thank You to all the staff at Elevate Movement Therapies.”

“Elevate offers an array of therapies and services from massage and physiotherapy. As you walk into the clinic, the space does look quite nice. Additionally, the physio staff do appear to be professional and experienced. However, the same can not be said about their massage staff. During my visit at Elevate, I was treated by Nora. Although my previous massage experience has been limited, Nora was by far the most inexperienced massage therapist I have yet to encounter. She seemed uncertain of her movements throughout our session and told me she would try some "new" techniques on me. At the time of the visit, I wish I had the chance to inquire further however before I knew it she was already performing these "new" adjustments. At no point was I asked for consent related to these new manipulations before she began to operate on me. Given my experience, I will definitely not be returning to this clinic again.”
