“I had a feeling that we landed on the wrong foot during the online booking process and my instinct was correct. The therapist we chose asked us an inappropriate question during the session that led my husband and I to have an unnecessary argument later on. I finally contacted the therapist to cancel further sessions and received a reply of one word - "confirmed". At that point, I thought I wish I'd never contacted this company. Edit: (adjusted from one star to three starts) The owner, Nat, contacted me immediately and gave me an opportunity to speak with him directly about the experience I had. He was sympathetic and made sure that he will discuss with the therapist about the problems. He also gave me few suggestions on how to find the "best match" for couples counseling. Further Edit: My husband and I found the best match. It took a while to find ‘the one’ as everyone seems to be taking new patients on their wait list but we were finally be able to find the one that we both feel comfortable talking with. If you are searching for one, don't give up. It's definitely worth spending the time to find the one. My husband and I been having regular sessions since 2021 and our relationship has improved tremendously.”Read moreShow less

“My experience with Emily Tousaw as a R.P. has always struggled to find words that could accurately describe her therapeutic style. She is not only competent and fully equipped in her role as a helping professional, but also brings into sessions a genuine and authentic self. Her stance as a feminist and non-judgmental therapist, allows clients to feel validated and gently challenged, in hopes for positive change and growth. Above all, Emily's value in transparency and awareness of her own power in her various social locations makes her stand out as a valued professional in the Mental Health field. Both to her clients and her colleagues.”Read moreShow less

“I have known Nat Roman for nearly five years, and would enthusiastically and without reservation recommend him as a therapist. Nat's abilities to listen deeply and compassionately, to really 'get' what others are saying, feeling, and needing, and to offer support and empathy, are astounding. Nat brings these skills and his deep commitment to healing to all, whether people are feeling quietly reflective, suffering the intensity of crisis, or anywhere in between. His wealth and depth of experience, as well as his own tender, whimsical, and creatively playful side, make him a very accomplished, human, humane and compassionate practitioner: in others words (in my humble opinion), an ideal therapist.”Read moreShow less
