I had an exceptional experience working with Allison Lockett at Canada Career Counselling. With her guidance, I secured a fantastic leadership role in higher education. The entire process, from defining my job search to refining my résumé, was smooth and empowering. What truly set this experience apart was the mindset shift Allison helped me make. Instead of focusing on what I lacked, she encouraged me to approach my search from a place of abundance, competence, and clarity. That shift changed everything. If you’re looking for a consultant who combines expertise with genuine care and can help you move forward with confidence, Allison Lockett and Canada Career Counselling are an outstanding choice.

I had the opportunity to work with Canada Career Counselling through an organization where I was previously employed, and the experience was consistently positive. Multiple members of their team were involved, each bringing a high level of professionalism, expertise, and care to their work. Meghan stood out in particular—she is highly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in the success and progress of those she supports. Her thoughtful approach made a meaningful impact, and it was clear she prioritizes the individual needs and goals of her clients. I highly recommend Canada Career Counselling for both individual and organizational career support.

Great experience overall. They will give you great insight into your personality and preferences. Goal is to increase your self awareness via personality tests and aligning them to your career options. They will NOT tell you what career to join. That is up to you to do after you gain awareness. Very helpful approach.

The benefits of this program are limitless. The process is carefully structured, guiding you as you consider every angle of your career path. You not only evaluate things like interests, skills and traits but also things like personality and life/career values. When I began this course I was considering many different career paths and I was very confused about which direction was right; after completing the course I realized what each of my options had in common and was able to confidently decide which path would be the most fitting and fulfilling for me. Thank you to Brittany who was patient, understanding and suggested new and helpful ideas.

Working with Meghan has been an incredible experience for me. She is top notch at what she does - a phenomenal mentor, guide, counsellor, therapist, and most importantly, cheerleader. I recommend her wholeheartedly and feel very blessed and grateful that I was able to work with her. Administrative staff are also warm, kind, and easy to deal with. A++++++

After scheduling conflict, I met with a counsellor for several sessions. I approached this support with an open mind, but found that both the counsellor and the program lacked focus. I ceased the sessions after being accused of not "working the program", which left me quite confused. I completed the assignments as requested, and followed instruction which resulted in a list of career options longer than that with which I had started. The counsellor discouraged specialized post-secondary education, and was overall quite unhelpful. I feel I gave this a good chance, but after 10+ sessions, I ceased participation. This experience left me not only professionally confused, but personally insulted as well. I do not recommend this business.
