“The staff at Ascent Physical Therapy are excellent; warm, welcoming, and incredibly competent. Dr Michael Westaway advocates for his patients and is a skilled physiotherapist. I have arthritis in my hand due to a series of traumatic injuries over the years. I recently had a scaphoid rescission surgery and need significant hand therapy to regain strength and mobility. Unfortunately I had a complication after the surgery and developed carpal tunnel symptoms as a result. Not only is Dr Westaway performing regular physio sessions with me to improve my prognosis post surgery, he was also able to refer me to some of his medical colleagues to ensure I was able to receive timely care to deal with the pinched median nerve in my carpal tunnel. From Dr Westaway’s vast experience and knowledgeable background to his exceptional bedside manner, I cannot say enough positive things about his level of care. I highly recommend Dr Westaway and Ascent Physical Therapy.”

“Very professional and friendly team. The assessment was detailed, and the physiotherapist took the time to explain everything clearly. As someone whose first language is not English, I really appreciated how patient and easy to communicate they were. I never felt rushed, and all my questions were answered thoroughly. The clinic also has convenient free parking. Highly recommend! 😊”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would. From the moment I walked into the reception area I felt welcomed. Staff were efficient, courteous and professional. Dr Westaway was professional, exceptionally thorough and VERY knowledgeable. “Happy - Knowledgable - Efficient - Bright From a childhood of Physio trauma instead of benefit coming to ascent has been an incredibly appreciated shift. Receptionist are cheery and quick even first thing in the morning and Dr. Michael David Westaway is cool calm and collected while offering the best service possible. “Mike Westaway has helped me keep going, as I age and in my cross-country skiing missions. He is really insightful about human physical stuff that is way more complex than what a physio can address, and has helped me recover from more difficult nerve and muscular pain (usually self inflicted sport related). And he is a decent and thoughtful person as well.”
