“Last year, I was diagnosed with a 5 cm endometrioma on my left ovary. I began acupuncture in the latter part of 2025 and used herbs with Dr. Yan2x. In March 2026, I had an ultrasound, and it confirmed that my 5 cm endometrioma had disappeared. I didn’t consult my family doctor or my fertility doctor about it. “My son was diagnosed with asthma and began using a puffer at age 5. Almost immediately, we noticed a substantial increase in his body weight. The heavier he became, the less active he became, and his dependence on the puffer during physical activity increased. He’s now 11 years old and has been diagnosed with metabolic syndrome - a triple threat disorder of obesity, borderline type 2 diabetes, and borderline cholesterol. The coincidence of the timing from the onset of his puffer use and the sudden change in body composition seemed like more than a coincidence to me, and - sure enough - I found plenty of evidence that supports a high correlation - if not all-out causation - between the use of steroidal asthma medication and early onset metabolic disorders. This is what brought me to All Balance Wellness Centre and Dr Rai. My boy has been receiving acupuncture treatments for about a month now - approximately 8 treatments - and we have already begun to see improvements. Just this week, he came home from school complaining about his sore legs from having done two days in a row of sprints in gym class. When I asked him if he had to use his puffer during this intense exercise, he said no! He didn’t even realize it until I asked him! This is huge! We will continue to see Dr Rai with the hope that, once he’s able to completely go off of the puffer, his hormones will regulate and his body will heal. “I was skeptical of acupuncture but after just one session with one of the female acupuncturists and one session with Dr.Ray it felt like my body had done something it has never done before. The first thing I noticed was an increase in mental clarity and energy. The type of energy that made me feel in control of my body and mind, if I wished to be productive I could, if I wished to rest I could, if I wished to brain storm and be creative well I had all the brain power I needed. Some other things I noticed -increased tolerance to the muggy heat we experience in Winnipeg -improved sleep -less prominent bags under my eyes and I think some of the wrinkles around my eyes disappeared too In general I felt significantly younger. “One of the BEST massage centres in Canada and the World. Having travelled overseas and other spas in Winnipeg, this place is a hidden treasure. I was having a super stressful week and my back and sides of my back were out of whack / alignment. Ethan knew immediately what needed to be done and my back was fixed after my 1 hour appointment. “I was there for the first time today. I enjoyed a perfect massage with Abimbola Adams. I have severe shoulder and neck pain, actually my whole body is totally tense. She found all the points to solve them, of course one massage is not enough. I will continue to go to her. Really super great. She is an upbeat and great masseuse. I have also had acupuncture.
