“A1 Counselling is a one-stop shop for all your counselling needs. They offer a variety of classes from the PAR Program, to Anger Managment, to Co-Parenting, to Depression & Anxiety, to pretty much anything else you can think of. They also offer a variety of individual and couples counselling options as well as complimentary counselling options with their practicum students. I would highly recommend! “Terrible customer service. Therapists just take off whenever and then they act like oh whatever just take another therapist. Had to beg for my money back. “My partner and I came here about two months ago. During our session with Daniel, we both felt like he was too focused on selling additional sessions rather than using the time we had wisely. Granted, it was the first session, but my partner and I had narrowed down the issues we were hoping to address ahead of time such that we could perhaps be sent home with a few tidbits of advice to think about. Instead, we heard a lot of “we will talk about that next time,” despite having the time for it during the session. Daniel had also wanted us to complete some sort of personality questionnaire or assessment, which he agreed to send to us via email so that we could come prepared with it for the next session. We never received anything, nor was there a follow-up. Very strange and quite disappointing.”Read moreShow less

“Since I'm a hugh Tragically Hip fan I'll say that; You are ahead by a century, if you decide to sit down & take this course. Prior to sitting down with Clarence & his assistant I would, respond with anger & rage to most situations. Now I learned how to say, "So What" to the situations that would, trigger it. Clarence is a very healthy happy man that made me feel at ease. If anger controls you & your life I highly recommend this program to anybody. I can't wait to get back to work & say "So What" to the situations that would normally set me off. I can't wait to see how the other guys will react to me. I also plan heading back for more personal sessions with Clarence because I still have alot of under lying problems but at least I know how to maintain my anger now. “I went to the program not knowing what to expect because I don't consider myself to be an angry person. I was mistaken as Anger management has many components that equip you with tools for everyday life. I felt the instructors were genuine in their discourse, and they had the mind set to help each and everyone be a better version of themselves. I learned so many things I didn't realize, from how we interact as individuals, and how our upbringing has a lot to do with how we approach our lives on a whole. I will keep reading the information and apply the knowledge I learned. I feel with this course I have a better grasp on everyday life and I hope to have better interactions with others going forward.
