The first session starts with a thorough assessment to understand the presenting complaint, detect the exact site of a lesion and develop a treatment plan. The assessment may take 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the condition being treated. The rest of the session will consist of massage and end with home-care advice and remedial exercises. Based on the assessment findings and the progress made in the first couple of sessions, it is possible to estimate the number of treatments required to achieve the desired results. Zoya had great success treating such conditions as low back pain, generalized chronic pain, elbow and wrist pain, shoulder pain and limited range of motion, consequences of MVA presenting as neck pain and headaches, among others.
