Where are you from? Kobe, Japan What were you doing before pursuing RMT? I have been working as a body worker and reflexologist for about six years.  Through this work, I’ve found it very rewarding to help clients reduce physical discomfort and hear them say they feel relief and appreciation after a treatment. Why do you want to be an RMT? My experience as a bodyworker inspired me to pursue a career as an RMT. I wanted to develop the knowledge and clinical skills to accurately assess my clients' conditions and provide personalized, evidence-informed treatment to help improve their health and well-being. How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school? Outside of school, I enjoy playing tennis and used to play lacrosse as well. Sports have always been an important part of my life. I also love traveling and have visited 14 countries so far. I enjoy exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and meeting people from different backgrounds. What is your favourite thing about VCMT? My favourite thing about VCMT is the supportive community. My classmates and cohort are always willing to help and encourage one another, creating a positive learning environment where everyone can grow together. Do you speak any languages other than English fluently? If so, which ones? Yes, I speak Japanese.
