About Vicki
Vicki is a Registered Nurse (Mohawk College 1992) and certified End-of-Life Doula

client’s homes as a home care nurse managing a great variety of conditions, as well as in

well-rounded variety of experiences and settings has given her an extensive knowledge of
the many different challenges that clients and their loved ones face on a daily basis. Her
personal life experiences are such that she has a deep understanding and compassion for
those she serves. She is passionate about providing advocacy for clients so that their
wishes are respected to the fullest extent possible.
What is an End-of-Life Doula?
She is an end-of-life doula who offers non-medical, emotional, educational, spiritual and
practical support to those with a life-limiting illness and to those within their circle of care.
She recognizes that navigating this chapter of life can be overwhelming, isolating and very
emotional. You may relate to feeling lonely and anxious for example, not knowing where to
go with these feelings. She offers a safe, non-judgmental space to express any and all
emotions. She offers each client dignity and respect by empowering them on their journey,
whatever their situation may be. She is committed to providing you with consistent,
ongoing support and will walk beside you as you move through this time. This continuous
support ensures a reliable, stable and compassionate presence to hold space and offer
guidance, education and resources which provide comfort and reassurance for each
individual and family.
She practices with the belief that every person and situation are unique, so you are offered
individualized and empathetic care that is tailored to you and your personal values, wishes
and needs.
This type of support can make a significant difference in the experience that you will have.
Her goal is to provide to you the level of support that ultimately results in your peace of
