About Vanessa

Vanessa Foucher is the Co-Founder of The Elevated Athlete Inc. She has over 15 years of experience as a Physiotherapist and holds both a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and a Kinesiology Undergraduate degree from McGill University. Vanessa continues to maintain her extensive experience and expertise with higher level manual therapy courses from the APQMO (Quebec), concussion rehabilitation and Sport First Aid. Vanessa is also registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Vanessa has spent much of her career in elite professional sport specializing in return-to-sport concussion and sport rehabilitation at several clinics in both Canada and the UK, most notably with Chelsea Football Club as an Academy Physiotherapist. Having been a competitive athlete herself for 17 years focusing in middle distance swimming and synchronized swimming, Vanessa has a unique understanding of top level sport and its demands. In her spare time she likes to golf, downhill ski, bake, hit the gym and go on hikes with her kids.
