Tyrone Gordon is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, who is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
Tyrone’s approach to therapy is deeply client-centered, placing your unique needs and perspectives at the forefront. He creates a safe and compassionate, collaborative, and empowering environment that allows you to tap into your strengths and pursue your personal and therapeutic goals with confidence. Tyrone is dedicated to working closely with you throughout the therapy process, and together, you will explore and confront difficult and uncomfortable emotions, as it is in this space of vulnerability that genuine healing takes place.
Tyrone works with individuals in the areas of trauma including PTSD, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, racial identity, grief, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and chronic pain.
Tyrone’s therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities and utilizes a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-focused Brief Therapy with an individualized, culturally sensitive approach to therapy.
