About Tyler
I am a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) student at Yorkville University, with training in couples and family counselling, including the Gottman Method.
My individual approach is grounded in person-centred and humanistic principles, integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help people move toward their ideal selves by living more closely in alignment with their values.
As an LGBTQ+ member, I recognize how systemic pressures, stigma, and social expectations can contribute to discomfort and distress in people’s everyday lives. I strive to create a supportive, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where individuals feel seen, heard, and respected.
My goal is to help people build greater self-understanding, authenticity, meaningful connection, and a life that reflects what matters most to them.
