About Tracy

Following a successful career as a speech-language pathologist working with young children and their families, Tracy trained to be a psychotherapist. Background Tracy received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario in 1992 and a Master of Health Sciences in Speech Pathology from the University of Toronto in 1994. After 27 years providing speech-language pathology services in a community setting in Lanark County, Tracy completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Meridian University. She brings a wealth of experience working collaboratively with parents, families and other caregivers. As a psychotherapist, Tracy is providing treatment in a range of areas. Areas of Focus *anxiety *life transitions *attachment *parenting skills *Interpersonal relationships *Grief *Parent/ youth conflict Tracy uses an integrative approach to individual therapy, drawing on cognitive, humanistic, and psychodynamic models of therapy. She believes that a client-centered practice provides an opportunity for individual growth and development and is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, compassionate setting where clients will find the support they need to become their best selves.
