And this is Tracy Adams –our resident parent coach, registered occupational therapist, first time mom & ice-cream connoisseur It’s easy to start with Tracy’s qualifications (because let’s be honest, the list is long ) but more importantly, after becoming a first time mom a few years ago, her identity shifted from Occupational Therapist to full time parent. Giving birth during the pandemic, Tracy put the strategies she uses with her clients into full-force. Using a coaching and resiliency approach, she’ll walk you through the woods of parenthood, giving you the tools & strategies to manage stress, communicate better and set gentle (but firm) boundaries in your home. A member of UBC’s Clinical Faculty with the School of Occupational Therapy, she’s got over 10 years experience working in Mental Health and Substance Use, and has been involved in program development for children with Autism.
