Tomoko Takahashi, RMT
Tomoko knows firsthand the amazing mental and physical relief massage therapy provides. As a teenager, Tomoko turned to massage therapy to treat her sport injuries and chronic pain. After overcoming her condition, she became intrigued by the body’s ability to heal itself and how massage helps facilitate this incredible process. This fascination combined with her desire to help others, led her to pursue a career in massage therapy.
With years of experience under her belt, Tomoko is skilled in treating a variety of conditions and tailors each treatment to the specific needs of her patients. She uses a number of techniques including deep tissue massage, myofascial technique, trigger point release, neuromuscular therapy, Swedish massage, positional release technique, and assisted stretching. She views the recovery process as a team effort and loves working with her clients to determine underlying issues, promote healing through clinical treatments, and achieve lasting change by providing home care.
On her days off, you’ll most likely find Tomoko hiking, swimming, or travelling
