About Theresa

Theresa Le Sliworsky is a mother of two, wife, and founder of CanSports and Co-founder of F.R.E.S.H Retreat, a women's health retreat centre in Bali. Theresa believes in empowering her clients with the tools to achieve their fitness goals, and to make training fun. She specialises in helping those over 40 with age-related issues and working with athletes to get their game back after injury. A former weightlifter, swimmer, triathlete and runner, health and fitness is Theresa’s passion. Theresa spent 25 years working in various stages of the health, food and fitness industry in Canada, Japan and Singapore: from food inspection, quality control, lobbyist, food design, food development, marketing and branding, to being a TV chef, cooking instructor, and running her own catering company and food business, Genki Bar Foods Inc, where she developed and manufacture lentils based foods for athletes. Over the years, Theresa has worked with Olympic athletes, professional athletes, high-performance triathlon teams, swim teams, kinesiologists, food scientists, dietitians, coaches, and trainers. All of these experiences developed her understanding and appreciation of the important and intricate relationship between nutrition and training. Theresa is a coach in the areas of nutrition, weight management, and overall lifestyle modification. She is a rehabilitation movement therapist, Master Functional trainer, and pilates teacher trainer. She is also a Fitgenes and AWL practitioner. Theresa is in the clinic on Wednesdays.
