About Tess

Tess Walde is a Family Nurse Practitioner registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. She graduated from the University of Athabasca with a Masters of Science in Nursing: Nurse Practitioner (Family) in 2018. Tess has completed ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (CCSP) training. Tess also completed specialty certification in Mental Health and Addictions through the University of Toronto. Tess has 20 years of experience in a variety of settings. Currently, she works in Urgent Care, Correctional services, and other primary care settings. Tess is passionate about increasing access to neurodiverse diagnoses, financial supports for those living with disabilities, and inclusive health care options. She is a strong advocate for her clients who experience barriers in health care settings. Tess is our team's medical specialist in the treatment of ADHD and an active member member of the Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance. Like other members of the TherapyWorks team, Tess follows the Canadian Practice Guidelines to improve the quality of healthcare for individuals with ADHD.
