About Tehreem
After her experiences with complex and traumatic pregnancy and birthing experiences, Tehreem was moved to offer support to women and families experiencing the same. With her two children, she experienced hyperemesis gravidarum, high risk pregnancies, NICU, and perinatal depression and anxiety. She has also explored the impacts of neurodivergence on her journey as a parent to little ones. Through all of this, what stood out to her the most was the importance of having a voice and feeling supported.
Tehreem offers a warm and compassionate space for individuals and couples navigating the transitions of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. She helps clients explore the often-difficult gap between expectations and reality and guides couples as they adjust to the evolving dynamics of their relationship. Her approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect, creating a safe environment where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Tehreem is a Registered Psychotherapist, with a Master's degree in Couple and Family Therapy. She has also completed trainings through Postpartum International and is working towards an accreditation as a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist. She has been working with individuals, couples and families for over 7 years. She practices Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Dialogic Therapy.
