When you are suffering the loss of a pregnancy or infant it is an unimaginable experience. I hold multiple certificates and training regarding therapy and support around pregnancy and infant loss, and want to walk with you through these emotions, experiences, and grief journey. I also bring lived experiences having lost multiple pregnancies. Through my grief journey, and the steps I had to take while going through my losses, I acknowledged the fact that resources are lacking for families in these devastating situations, and it became a passion for me to help address this gap within our community. I have also taken the time to complete trainings and dedicated studies in regards to supporting mothers as they enter motherhood and postpartum. Understanding the mix of emotions that can be attached to this new journey of finding who you are as a mom, and also not forgetting who you were before parenthood. It is important to me that parents have a place to be heard, understood, and supported throughout these changes. I have experience working with youth, adults, and parents with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, and substance misuse. Working with individuals 16+. I have been a social worker working within these populations in the Windsor-Essex community for the past decade using evidence based theories.
