About Tarja
Hi! I’m Tarja.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and an independent contractor here at
Rebound. I am a compassionate, empathic and understanding individual. I value
connection, and my desire to help those in need has always been a calling of mine. It is
my objective to assist others in moving from survival to thriving no matter what the
circumstances.
I have completed my Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville
University and have been certified by an EMDRIA-approved Eye Movement
Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) program. I have experience counselling
couples and individuals of all ages. Issues range from relational issues, family of origin
issues, body issues, trauma, depression and anxiety, to OCD, PTSD and C-PTSD, self-esteem,
and addiction.
