About Tarek
Tarek Baklouti is a manual osteopathic practitioner with over eight years of experience dedicated to promoting holistic health and well-being. With a solid foundation in physiotherapy and massage therapy, Tarek provides personalized care that addresses both the symptoms and the root causes of musculoskeletal conditions.
Tarek earned his Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice DO(MP) from the National Academy of Osteopathy in Toronto in 2023.
His journey began in Tunisia, where he pursued a degree in physiotherapy in 2015. This foundational education provided him with a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the complexities of human movement, equipping him to excel in rehabilitation and injury prevention.
Expanding his expertise, Tarek became a licensed massage therapist in Canada in 2022. This hands-on experience refined his therapeutic touch and deepened his appreciation for the body’s natural ability to heal through manual therapy. His work in massage therapy complements his osteopathic practice, focusing on the body’s self-healing mechanisms.
As a CrossFit trainer, Tarek integrates his passion for functional movement and strength training into his practice. He recognizes the essential role that movement plays in overall health and incorporates this knowledge into his osteopathic treatments. His approach blends hands-on care with movement and exercise to support long-term well-being.
