Tanya completed the 3000-hour Registered Massage Therapy program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) Victoria in 2013. She uses a combination of her clinical experience and research to inform her patient centered care approach.
Tanya uses a variety of techniques to support the nervous system and desensitize sensitive tissue. Her practice ranges from sports injuries, prenatal care, to chronic pain conditions. She believes patient education is an important component of her treatments, as it empowers patients to be the drivers of their own healthcare journeys. Tanya enjoys sharing these principles with her professional community while teaching Pain and Stress, as well as Orthopaedic Assessment at WCCMT Victoria.
When Tanya is not practicing or teaching, she can be found pursuing academic projects, reading with her book club and
enjoying multiday hikes or snow sports with loved ones.
