About Sydney

Sydney holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from Acadia University, and then furthered her studies at the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy with Honours! During her time at Acadia, she actively participated in research publication on Sport Related Concussions, dedicated her time to the development of children’s fine motor skills through volunteering, and provided personal training services at the Acadia Cardiac Rehab Program. Throughout her time at CCMH, she pursued her passions for massage and sports, volunteering at numerous sporting events to offer sport massage services to athletes. Including most recently the North American Indigenous Games! Sydney’s commitment to her profession is evident through her membership with the Canadian Sport Massage Therapists Association and her ongoing efforts to meet all requirements to become a Certified Sport Massage Therapist. Sydney strongly believes in empowering her clients through education, recognizing it as a fundamental step in fostering a physically active lifestyle. Her dedication lies in helping individuals regain their ability to perform everyday tasks, facilitating rehabilitation, and preventing future injuries. With her experience in various massage techniques, including Swedish massage, myofascial trigger point release, cupping massage, myofascial release, and sport massage, she is confident in her ability to help clients achieve their goals. Outside the clinic, Sydney enjoys going for hikes, reading a good book outside, or visiting Wolfville!
