Hi, I’m Sydney — a Registered Psychotherapist and someone who has always naturally gravitated toward helping others. I believe deeply in the power of feeling seen, heard, and supported, especially during life’s most vulnerable and uncertain moments. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural step in my path. I’ve spent a decade working in hospice and long-term care, sitting with individuals and families through experiences of grief, change, and transition. These roles shaped how I show up in this work: with presence, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. Outside of therapy, I spend my time staying active, being creative, and connecting with loved ones. I believe in the power of small moments, meaningful connection, and slowing down enough to be present. Not only do I value my role as a therapist, but also my roles as a partner, daughter, sister, and friend . These relationships ground and inspire me in my personal life and professional work. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert in your own life. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and free to explore whatever is showing up for you, at your own pace.
