Occupational therapyWinnipeg

About Suzanne

Helping adults turn insight into practical changes in everyday life. I provide occupational therapy for adults experiencing challenges with everyday functioning related to ADHD, autism, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, and burnout. I particularly enjoy working with adults who are discovering ADHD or autism later in life and are looking for support in understanding what their diagnosis—or growing self-understanding—means for everyday life. You may know why certain things have always felt difficult, but still be wondering, “What do I actually do differently now?” OT can help bridge that gap. Together, we can explore practical strategies for executive functioning, routines, task initiation, organization, sensory regulation, self-care, household responsibilities, occupational balance, and managing competing demands. I also support adults whose anxiety or depression is making it harder to participate in the activities and responsibilities that matter to them. My approach is individualized, collaborative, and focused on making everyday life more manageable and sustainable. This may include developing systems that support planning and follow-through, reducing the effort required for daily tasks, adapting routines and environments, understanding sensory needs, and finding ways to balance work, home, rest, and meaningful activities. A formal ADHD or autism diagnosis is not required to work with me. My focus is not on determining whether you meet diagnostic criteria, but on understanding the challenges you are experiencing and finding practical ways to support your participation in everyday life. I especially enjoy working with independent adults who have strong insight into their challenges but are looking for practical support to turn that insight into meaningful change. OT can be a good fit if you find yourself thinking: 🔹“I know what I need to do, but I can't make myself do it.” 🔹“Everything takes so much more effort than it seems to for everyone else.” 🔹“I understand my ADHD/autism, but I don't know what to actually do with that information.” 🔹“I'm constantly overwhelmed by everyday life.” 🔹“I'm managing one area of my life, but everything else is falling apart.” 🔹“I’m exhausted from trying to keep up with work, home, and everything in between.” My goal is to help you move from “I know why I've struggled” toward “I understand what I need, and I know what I can do differently.”
