Susie is a counselling intern currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Holding a Bachelor of Arts, she brings a warm, empathetic, and collaborative approach to her clinical work, grounded in a deep commitment to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life transitions and relationship challenges. Susie provides counselling services in both English and Mandarin. With a strong background in community-based family support, Susie brings extensive experience working alongside individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. She is particularly passionate about helping families foster healthy communication, strengthening parenting strategies, and supporting newcomers and multicultural clients through the complex emotional adjustments of cultural and life transitions. Susie’s therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, client-centred, and culturally sensitive. she tailors each session to the unique strengths and goals of the client. She believes that healing and growth happen when individuals feel genuinely seen, respected, and empowered. Susie strives to cultivate a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore vulnerable emotions, build resilience, and discover practical tools for lasting well-being. Outside of her clinical practice, Susie prioritizes balance and wellness by spending time outdoors, practicing mindfulness, and connecting with loved ones
