About Steven

Steven has worked for the Federal Government for 25 years (7 years with the Canadian Coast Guard, 15 years as a regular member with the RCMP (in BC), and another 3 years as a Reservist with the RCMP). Steven also was a commissioned officer with the Canadian Forces cadet program for 18 years and obtained his captain's ticket for naval training vessels. As a police officer, he has done front-line policing, collision reconstruction, and community policing. Steven has also worked as an RCMP Summer Student (in Yukon), and Auxiliary Constable (in Alberta). Steven was drawn to psychology during his journey with operational stress injuries including PTSD.
