###Meet Steve Wu, Registered Acupuncturist & TCM Practitioner
Steve is a dedicated licensed acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner with a unique background in software engineering. After over 20 years in software development, he transitioned into TCM, believing that advancements in science and technology will further integrate Traditional Chinese Medicine into everyday healthcare.
Steve holds an Applied Science degree from the University of British Columbia and a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr. TCM) diploma from Tzu Chi International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCICTCM). Through personal experience and mentorship from esteemed teachers, he has witnessed the profound effectiveness of acupuncture and herbal medicine. His approach extends beyond treating illness, focusing on overall health cultivation and resilience.
Steve works with patients managing pain, stress, chronic conditions, and overall well-being, helping them optimize their physical and mental state. Whether recovering from illness, car accidents, navigating high-stress environments, preparing for competitive activities, or enhancing daily performance, Steve is committed to supporting his patients.
Actively involved in promoting TCM, Steve has participated in professional advocacy, including the 2022 CTCMA board election, to further the growth and recognition of Traditional Chinese Medicine in British Columbia.
