Steven Lee Smith is a chiropodist who graduated from the University of Salford in the UK in 2005 and has worked in various settings across several countries including the UK, Australia and Ireland. Steve has been happily practising chiropody in Canada for the last 7 years, offering full service foot care from diabetic nail, ingrown toenail, callous/wart removal, cortisone injections, shockwave therapy for plantar fasciitis and heel pain, and has assessed and prescribed orthotics for those suffering with flat or high arches.
Steven comes from a sporting background with a past career in football (soccer). Given his personal experience in sports and keen interest in lower limb mechanics and their contribution to soft tissue injuries, this has enabled him to treat a vast range of athletes from men to women and children of all ages at various levels of competition from recreational to elite professionals.
