I am a Master of Social Work student at Pennsylvania Western University, offering virtual and in-person counselling from London, Ontario. I bring over nine years of experience in the developmental services sector, supporting individuals and families through a wide range of life challenges with care that is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in genuine human connection.
I hold an Honours BA in Human Rights and Equity Studies from York University and a diploma in Social Service Work from Fanshawe College. I have also completed specialized training with the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA) and hold certificates in Anti-Racist Research Practices and Refugee and Migration Studies. These experiences inform my work with clients navigating complex systems, major life transitions, grief, chronic illness, and end-of-life concerns.
My approach to counselling is culturally responsive, identity-affirming, and neurodiversity-affirming. I bring both professional and lived experience as a student therapist with ADHD and strive to create a flexible, supportive space for those who may not find traditional therapy models helpful. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem challenges, identity exploration, neurodivergent experiences, and queer and LGBTQIA+ concerns, as well as women navigating their lived experiences.
I draw from approaches including Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring sessions to each client’s needs.
