About Stacey
Welcome to Milestones Psychology!
It is said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and counselling is like that too. Making the decision to attend counselling is an important step and frequently made when you are struggling and feeling overwhelmed. I applaud your courage in taking steps towards recognizing things in your life that are not serving you.
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists. I am also a proud member of the Psychological Association of Alberta and the Canadian Psychological Association.
My approach is first and foremost person-centered, and I sometimes borrow other methods and ideas to best fit your needs. You are a unique individual who is the expert of your life experiences, and sometimes may seek a safe and non-judgmental third party to allow yourself the space to uncover your strengths, resiliency, and achieve clarity to your unique challenges. I am a genuine, warm, empathetic, and compassionate therapist who can help you on your journey.
I believe in prioritizing building a relationship with clients before and during the hard work of therapy. I am privileged to be part of your journey and I aim to allow you the collaborative safe, supportive space to grow and change. As a seasoned life observer, I want to help you deepen your perspective on life through the counselling process. We are partners in your journey to become the best version of yourself through self-discovery and personal growth.
