About Sophie
Sophie is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. Prior to becoming a RMT, she completed a B.Sc Honours degree in Sports Therapy at Hartpury University in Gloucester, UK.
Sophie’s passion for health and fitness started at a young age with riding horses, and competing at the highest levels in the sport of Three-Day Eventing. Her athleticism further developed with a competitive drive towards Nordic skiing, road cycling and playing rugby for Hartpury University and the Gloucester City Team. Being a high level equestrian athlete herself, Sophie saw an opportunity with focused attention towards rehabilitation health, sport specific movement training, self-care, and strength and conditioning.
Since graduating from massage therapy school, Sophie has become certified as a Level 1 Fascial Stretch Therapist and an Acupuncturist in the McMaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program. Sophie enjoys putting her extensive knowledge of clinical assessment to use in understanding and applying the best approaches to helping you overcome your limitations and achieve your goals. She looks forward to meeting you!
