About Sophie
Sophie Girdler is an Osteopathic Manual Therapist (OMT) from the reputable Canadian College of Osteopathy 6 year program. She is passionate about guiding and supporting her clients seeking health and healing. Through investigation of the past and current medical history, osteopathic assessment of physical well-being, and addressing all lifestyle components such as sleep, stress, diet, and mental health, Sophie focuses on uncovering the root cause of pain or dysfunction. Her holistic approach fosters a positive change in those who come to see her. Many of her clients refer to her as the “body whisperer”.
With a BSc in Kinesiology (2010) from McGill University, and competitive dancer and gymnast in her youth, Sophie has provided movement assessment and rehabilitation, personal training, and athletic coaching as a practicing registered Kinesiologist for over 17 years. She is deeply committed to advocating for the importance of movement and rest as essential components of a healthy, balanced body and mind.
