She believes meaningful change happens when clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported, and she strives to create a therapeutic space that is compassionate, non-judgmental, and grounded in authenticity. Sonia works with individuals navigating PTSD, childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, addiction, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and the impact of past experiences. She is particularly interested in helping clients develop greater self-awareness, understand patterns in their lives, and reconnect with their inner strengths and values. She takes a whole-person perspective, recognizing the connection between mind, body, and lived experience. She works collaboratively with clients to explore patterns, increase emotional awareness, and develop strategies that support both immediate relief and long-term growth. Sonia’s approach is integrative and draws from several evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, nervous system–focused work. She also incorporates elements of existential and person-centred therapy, helping clients explore meaning, identity, and personal values while building practical tools for emotional regulation and resilience.
