About Sirima

Sirima Noumbissie-Nzefa graduated from the Université de Montréal with an undergraduate and master’s degrees in physiotherapy. She is a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ). Her strong interest in alleviating the daily aches and pains of her loved ones led her to pursue a career in physiotherapy to improve people’s quality of life. Sirima is qualified to assess and treat you for various musculoskeletal conditions such as back and neck pain, disc herniation, sciatica, muscle strain and more. She can also see you for shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle pain, whether it issued from sport injuries, a fall or even if your pain started gradually and you don’t know why. She will analyze your condition to help you understand what is happening and to start treating you right away to improve your quality of life and ease your way back into your activities. Your initial visit’s evaluation of 60 minutes consists of asking you a few questions to understand how your pain started and your limitations. A physical exam through guided movements and specifics biomechanical tests will allow Sirima to make a physical therapy diagnosis and treatment plan. Then she will proceed with a hands-on treatment, prescribe you personalized exercises and recommendations to help you manage your condition. Sirima has been trained and certified to perform manual therapy such as muscles and fascia release, spine mobilization, articulation mobilization, and peripheral joints manipulations. She can rehabilitate you for Vestibular conditions (eg. Positional Vertigo; dizziness). You can also consult Sirima for urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapses, and pelvic pain. She is trained to rehabilitate women around pregnancy, after delivery and peri-menopausal women for the above symptoms. She is certified to prescribe X-rays within 72 hours of your injury according to your evaluation. While Sirima has a particular interest in the human body and its rehabilitation, she is most passionate about the individual and restoring their well-being. Within her approach, she sees the patient as the central partner in her own care, while adopting a personalized approach to each individual.
