Shyama completed her Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine (5 year program) from The Canadian College Of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Victoria, BC.
As part of her training, she completed an internship in China in the Traditional Chinese Hospitals of both Cheng Du and Anhui Universities. She also graduated with a B.A.Degree from the University of Victoria in Anthropology & Art History.
Shyama brings over 19 years of Clinical experience as a Registered Acupuncturist, Traditional Chinese Herbalist & Health & Wellness Coach. Her practice of Meditation,Qigong, Mindfulness & Amrita Yoga offer a unique & compassionate approach to balancing the mind, body & spirit.
She encourages her patients to take a proactive and preventative approach to their health & emotional wellness by educating them about diet, lifestyle, & self care. She is committed to supporting them on their healing journey & helping them achieve an optimum quality of life so they are invincible! She treats all family members with Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Supplements, Cupping, Moxibustion, Estem & her Online Wellness Programs. Shyama also offers Community Acupuncture for those interested in Group Acupuncture.
