Shendra Physio Bio:
Shendra has been practicing Physiotherapy for almost 20 years in sports and orthopaedic private practice. She has completed her Advanced Anatomical Acupuncture training and has taught Yoga for 17 years. She uses a combination of Western and Eastern medicine to approach the body in a wholistic way.
Shendra uses her manual therapy skills of massage and joint mobilization along with therapeutic exercise including Pilates to help people reach their personal goals. She believes client education and pain science are key to a successful recovery.
Her passion for skiing and mountain biking brought her family to Revelstoke in 2007 and they haven’t looked back. She grew up in Vancouver, BC and graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy. She has worked in Vancouver, Hood River in Oregon and Revelstoke.
