I am a Nurse Practitioner, specializing in women and men's health targeting hormones, thyroid health, autoimmune conditions, inflammation, metabolic health, weight management, and preventative care. I have a particular passion for helping patients navigate hormonal changes including perimenopause, menopause, postpartum, and andropause. My approach combines evidence-based medical care with functional medicine and root-cause principles. During your appointment I take the time to understand your symptoms alongside your health history, goals, laboratory results and diagnostic imaging. I am able to order and interpret diagnostic testing, diagnose conditions, prescribe medication and treatment, provide hormone therapy, and coordinate specialist care. A Personal Note With over ten years of experience as a Registered Nurse prior to transitioning to a Nurse Practitioner my clinical experience spans emergency medicine, maternity, pediatrics, and outpost nursing in Nunavut. I am also a mother of two, welcoming my second child in April. Motherhood has given me a deeper appreciation for physical and emotional demands that impact our health from a family-centered approach.
