As a massage therapist, Sharina enjoys assisting her clients with their health goals and educating them how to help themselves. Sharina has a particular interest in, and has taken specialized training for the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) disorders and pain. To achieve a more wholistic style of treatment, one that both provides therapeutic relief and relaxation, Sharina often incorporates relaxation massage techniques with myofascial cupping and deep tissue work into most treatments. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Sharina worked with at-risk youth for 16 years. During this time, massage became an important part of her self-care regime. Her personal experience benefiting from massage heavily influenced her decision to become a massage therapist. In her spare time Sharina enjoys baking, reading, crochet and, most of all, spending lots of time with her grandchildren and extended family.
