Shannon graduated with her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Tennessee in 2008, after finishing her bachelor's degree in rehabilitation science with honours in 2006. Having practiced in an outpatient orthopaedic setting since 2008, Shannon has extensive experience with a variety of neuro-musculoskeletal disorders and post-operative patients. Guided by osteopathic principles, her approach to treatment is identifying the underlying cause of dysfunction and treating through a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and modalities. Shannon was promoted to clinical director at TCHPP in 2015.
“I have a number of benefits through my work for physio, massage therapy, chiropractic, and osteopathy. Alvin Brown was highly recommended to me through a friend, and his centre lived up to the recommendation! He himself has a number of certifications, including massage therapy and osteopathy, but what I love about him is that he views his work as so much more than a job-he has found his purpose in life and we, his clients, reap the benefits.
I also receiving physio-therapy from Shannon. She is very personable and, most importantly, gets results.
I recommend TCHPP to any and all who live in the general vicinity.”Read moreShow less
