About Shannon
Hi, I’m Shannon.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions. My goal is to offer a space that feels safe, collaborative, and real. A space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported as you move toward healing and self-understanding.
My passion for mental health began early, shaped by my own life experiences with grief, anxiety, and loss. As both a therapist and a mother of three, I understand the challenges of balancing life’s demands, caring for others, and finding time for yourself. These experiences have deepened my empathy and my belief that therapy isn’t about “fixing” you, it’s about walking alongside you as you reconnect with your strengths and rediscover your inner peace.
I work with children as young as three, adolescents, parents, and couples. I have a particular passion for supporting families through parenting struggles, anxiety, and emotional regulation, helping both children and parents build tools for communication, confidence, and calm. I also have experience helping clients through grief and loss, trauma, depression, panic attacks, and major life changes.
My approach is trauma-informed and strength-based, drawing on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT). Each session is tailored to your unique needs and experiences. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, with compassion and curiosity.
Outside of private practice, I design and facilitate school-based mental health workshops for youth, parents, and educators across the GTA. I love creating spaces that foster connection, belonging, and emotional growth.
Whether you’re a parent seeking guidance, a teen working through anxiety, or an adult carrying the weight of loss, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you at your pace, toward greater clarity, courage, and calm.
