About Sarah

For 15 years, I have had the honour and privilege of walking alongside youth, adults and their loved ones as they worked towards building a life that aligns more closely with their values. I have worked in the fields of sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, palliative care, as well as youth with mental health and substance use issues. I am constantly humbled by people’s resiliency, and strongly believe in everyone’s capacity for healing and growth. I have received extensive clinical counselling training in my Bachelors of Social Work, Masters of Social Worker (University of Toronto, 2013), as well as through additional specialized trainings. I am a Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers (# 12464) and Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (*electronic services only, #823035). I am also a Registered Clinical Counsellors (#19596) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I strive to foster a caring, trauma-informed, and culturally affirming space for you to explore the issues that have brought you to therapy.
