About Sarah

Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist who holds a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from Carleton University. Sarah has experience supporting teens and adults with emotional disruptions, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and general mental health concerns. Sarah has a special interest in sports performance and high-performance psychology stemming from her experiences as an elite athlete, coach, as well as through her education. She has worked with competitive youth athletes, collegiate athletes, Olympic and professional athletes, as well as individuals who have a general passion for sports and personal growth. When working with high performers and athletes she considers the overall mental health and well-being needs that are present, while appreciating the potential impacts felt on their performance. Sarah aims to build working relationships with her clients that reflect sincere, authentic human connection and are collaborative in nature. She approaches client’s concerns in a manner that sheds light on their strengths and resources, their potential for growth, and aims to bring balance to their lives. Sessions are shaped by the client’s needs and provide an open, flexible space that encourages them to bring up whatever they need at that moment. Sarah is a member of The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO, ID: 008549) and meets CRPO requirements to provide clinical supervision.
