###Registered Provisional Psychologist
“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says, "I'll try again tomorrow.” — Mary Anne Radmacher
#####I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field.
I bring over a decade of experience walking alongside individuals—adults, adolescents, and children—as they navigate some of life’s most challenging and vulnerable moments. Before entering the field of Psychology, I worked extensively as a trauma-informed High-Risk Youth Worker and Family Preservation Worker. In these roles, I supported adolescents facing difficulties with relationships, anxiety, and depression, as well as parents seeking emotional support in the often overwhelming journey of parenting.
My extensive experience has allowed me to work with a diverse range of clients and issues. I am especially proficient in working with complex issues such as traumatic experiences, infertility and treatment, postpartum depression, prenatal complication, pregnancy loss, and more, using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
I understand that life can throw curveballs which can knock us off our planned paths. As a therapist, I will walk alongside my clients through the ups and downs, tailoring my interventions to support their unique challenges.
#####I am dedicated to supporting individuals (adults 18+ and teens 13+) on their journeys toward healing and personal growth.
I provide sessions both in-person in Sherwood Park and online to clients across Alberta.
My therapeutic philosophy emphasizes that there is no "cookie-cutter" approach to healing. Instead, I believe in tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of my clients. I work with individuals who are overwhelmed by issues surrounding depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, relationships, and other mental health concerns.
My approach to therapy is rooted in trauma-informed, client-centered care, guided by compassion, safety, and deep respect for each individual’s story. I believe healing takes place within safe, supportive relationships, and I strive to cultivate that environment with every client I meet. I am currently welcoming clients aged 13 and older and am honored to support those seeking healing, growth, and emotional well-being.
#####I specialize in working with pregnancy loss, prenatal and postpartum challenges, and infertility issues.
I have a particular focus and experience in reproductive and perinatal mental health, including experiences such as infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, postpartum depression, and the often-unseen emotional complexities surrounding conception, pregnancy, and early parenthood.
I have a special interest in working with individuals experiencing postpartum depression or concerns, pregnancy or reproductive challenges, pregnancy or child loss, birth trauma, infertility struggles and undergoing fertility treatments. I can help navigate the emotional complexities that can arise in these areas
This work is deeply personal to me. I have a genuine understanding of the financial, emotional, and physical struggles that can impact both individuals and relationships.
I’ve walked the painful and often isolating path of infertility—navigating the hope, heartbreak, and uncertainty that come with it. I understand the silent grief when the body doesn't respond as expected, the emotional ache of watching others conceive with ease, and the financial and physical toll of fertility treatments. I also know the fear and disorientation that can arise from birth trauma. These lived experiences shape how I show up in the therapy room—with humility, empathy, and profound respect for the unique journey each person carries.
#####I am experienced in working with LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse clients.
I also have extensive experience supporting LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse clients, and I have personal and professional knowledge of the unique experiences and challenges they face, and I curate therapy to meet each individual’s needs.
Beyond perinatal mental health, I have extensive experience supporting individuals across the lifespan through trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I work closely with both adolescents and adults, including those within the LGBTQ+ community, particularly individuals exploring identity, navigating societal or family expectations, or seeking an affirming space to live more authentically. I understand that adolescence brings its own set of challenges—friendships, relationships, academic pressure, and shifting family dynamics—and I aim to offer a space where teens feel safe, validated, and heard.
#####I aim to optimize your therapeutic outcomes through effective collaboration.
I support my clients so they can have autonomy over their therapeutic journey. It is important that our therapeutic relationship is strong and trusting. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Together, we will collaborate to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your specific goals and challenges.
Throughout my career, I have witnessed the transformative power of therapy, and I am committed to empowering my clients to find their own paths to resilience and well-being.
My therapeutic approach is you-centered, meaning that sessions are individualized to fit your needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, attachment theory, and trauma-informed practices. Whether you’re holding grief, navigating uncertainty, or simply trying to make sense of what you're feeling—I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and respect.
You're not alone in this, and you don’t have to carry it all by yourself. Healing is possible—and you are worthy of support, peace, and hope.
