Sarah Carter RMT studied at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and became registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 1999. Sarah is a member of the RMTAO.
With 26 years experience, Sarah has worked in a both clinical and spa settings. She put her own knowledge and passion to use while teaching in a massage therapy program. Over the 10 years of teaching, she also supervised the operations of the clinic and organized various outreaches and placements in the community. Sarah was also involved with the Professional Advisory Committee which worked with employers and other Registered Massage Therapists to help improve the profession. Sarah is involved in running the Northern Kneads Lectures which gathers professionals together to learn from each other.
Teaching future Registered Massage Therapists made Sarah love the profession even more. Sarah believes that together with her clients, she can help create balance in her client's body. Once this balance has been obtained, the client’s quality of life improves. Sarah uses a variety of techniques such as fascial work, stretching, strengthening and hydrotherapy to help correct postural imbalances.
