Hello 😊, I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a student at the University of Toronto.
As an AuDHD therapist and mother of two neurodivergent children, I bring both personal and professional understanding to my work with neurodiverse individuals and families.
My work includes supporting individuals impacted by trauma, abuse, political instability, and complex systems, alongside an advocacy background focused on gender-based violence, disability rights, and global equity.
My Approach to Therapy
• Using trauma-informed feminist therapy frameworks, I aim to create an inclusive therapeutic environment that celebrates human diversity.
• I work from a non-pathologizing, strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming perspective, and recognize trauma as a valid response to harm.
• I honour the complexity of intersecting identities (including disability, race, gender, and sexuality), with an understanding that mental health is shaped by our social contexts and broader systems.
• I offer a balance of warmth, honesty, curiosity, and directness, combining thoughtful reflections, new perspectives, and practical support, understanding that you are the expert on your life.
• Together, we can examine both present concerns and the deeper attachment experiences that may shape how you see yourself, navigate relationships, and experience the world today.
• We can explore your story, building deeper awareness of your needs, values, identity, and sense of belonging while developing stronger boundaries, self-prioritization, and self-compassion.
• You can expect a therapeutic relationship built on integrity, authenticity, confidence, and depth.
• I aim to reduce hierarchical barriers while remaining aware of the power dynamics inherent in therapy.
• I encourage open dialogue about my approach and welcome feedback without judgment, because therapy works best when we build it together.
Populations and Communities I Support:
• Women, children, teenagers, and families
• Neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autism, ADHD, and giftedness.
• Mothers and caregivers navigating shifts that can come with parenting.
• Individuals living with PTSD, complex trauma, abuse, violence, and experiences of navigating complex systems while seeking safety, support, and healing.
• Individuals exploring attachment patterns and interpersonal relationships.
• People who have experienced marginalization, discrimination, or systemic barriers.
