REGISTERED PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST, (P8502) Sandra brings a trauma-informed and compassionate approach to supporting children, youth, adults, families, couples and groups. She offers personalized, meaningful care for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and emotional regulation through both in-office counselling sessions and Equine Assisted Therapy experiences. In addition to traditional in-person therapy sessions offered in-office, Sandra also provides Equine Assisted Therapy at Sublime Stables near Devon, Alberta. This experiential approach combines evidence-based psychological principles with nature-based and horse-assisted experiences to support clients in building self-awareness, emotional regulation, confidence, connection, and personal growth. Working alongside three carefully selected therapy horses — Charm, Sky, and Cobalt — clients are welcomed into a calm, grounded environment where healing and learning can unfold through meaningful interaction, reflection, and guided activities. Each horse brings a unique personality and presence to the therapeutic process and is experienced in therapeutic and experiential work. All equine sessions are ground-based and thoughtfully tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual in a safe, supportive, and nature-connected setting. Sandra’s therapeutic style is collaborative, grounded, and centred on each client’s values, goals, and lived experiences. Whether meeting in the office or in the equine setting, clients are welcomed into a safe and supportive space where they can explore challenges and begin their journey toward healing and personal growth. Drawing on a balance of practical tools, gentle insight, and heartfelt connection, Sandra helps clients move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding. Known for her warmth and sincerity, Sandra walks alongside each client with genuine care and respect, offering steady support as they move toward wellness.
