Salma graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University after completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McGill University. Before pursuing physiotherapy, she worked as a Vision Therapist in BC, where she supported diverse patient populations including individuals recovering from concussions, athletes seeking to enhance performance, and those living with visual dysfunction. This experience gave her a unique perspective on the connection between the visual and musculoskeletal systems and continues to shape her comprehensive approach to rehabilitation. Through her clinical training, Salma gained experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, which helped her build a strong foundation in assessment and treatment. She is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care that integrates exercise prescription, manual therapy, and education to support recovery, prevent re-injury, and optimize performance. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Salma is pursuing further professional development, including certification in acupuncture and advanced training in concussion management.
