About Rodrigo

Rodrigo Zimmermann is passionate about caring for others and participating with patients in the process of improving their mobility and overall wellness. He believes the body is a vehicle that shapes our experience of life and through his studies to become an RMT at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT), he had the opportunity to observe how beautifully complex and intrinsic our body is. He learned an array of techniques, such as Swedish, Myofascial release, Orthopedic, Sports Massage, and Neuromuscular techniques, which have enabled him to contribute to the process of helping his patients find physical, mental, and emotional balance. His treatment style focuses on putting the patient in a parasympathetic state so that the body can rest from and digest all the challenges, pain, and anxiety of daily life. Rodrigo enjoys Martial Arts and gymnastics, having practiced Karate and Kung fu for around 11 years. Through the practice of martial arts, he grew an interest in how movement intrinsically affects our whole body and how our nervous system plays a role in it.
